2016 Point Duathlon presented by Cellcom

Description

The full duathlon will take place on August 20th. The race day packet pick-up/registration will be from 6:30-8:00 AM followed by a mandatory pre-race meeting at 8:15 AM. The event will start at 8:30 AM. If you wish to pick-up/register in advance, you may do so from 4:00-6:00 PM in parking lot Q on the UWSP campus on Friday, the 19th. This will be a chip-timed event consisting of a 2 mile run, 16.5 mile bike ride, and a final 2 mile run. There will be 2 run courses to choose from, one being on paved streets and sidewalks through the UWSP campus, and the other through the shaded trails of the Schmeekle Reserve on the Green Circle Trail. The top 3 finishers and relay teams in each age and gender division will receive awards. Registration forms will be available online or at the Y after April 1st. Race fees will be listed on the registration form. You will save $5 if you register by August 10th! Additionally, course maps and rules will be offered on our website by May 1st. The YMCA website and Facebook page also will have a map to assist you in finding parking lot Q on the UWSP campus.
