Escape to New Orleans for a couple of hours on Friday, January 25th, at 7:30 pm at the Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids. Sammy Miller and The Congregation are on a mission to put the generosity back into jazz and bring art back to the people. They play joyful New Orleans-type jazz—music that feels good. It is a style that entertains, enriches, but most of all, uplifts—just what we need in the dead of winter!

A native of Los Angeles, Grammy®-nominated drummer Sammy Miller has become known for his relentless focus on making music that feels good as a drummer, singer, and bandleader. Upon completing his Master’s at The Juilliard School, Sammy formed his ensemble, The Congregation. As a band, they share the power of community through their music—joyful jazz.

Get a preview at www.sammymillercongregation.com. Then get your tickets, which are $38 (plus tax). Purchase them through The Arts Council’s web site 24/7 at www.SavorTheArts.org.
