Aspirus Riverview Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids welcomes Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Kathy J. Russeth, MD.  Dr. Russeth joins the clinic’s team of behavioral health professionals to help meet our area’s growing need for mental health and substance abuse services.

Dr. Russeth takes a special interest in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma. She takes an eclectic, personalized approach to whole-person well-being, including medication if indicated, psychotherapy, and family involvement.

“Working on one’s mental health and well-being is deeply personal; and what is helpful for healing or finding balance is unique to everyone,” said Dr. Russeth. “I am sensitive to each individual’s situation in order to provide compassionate, personalized psychiatric services.”

Dr. Russeth earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed her residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin & Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee. She is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Russeth practiced in Milwaukee from 2011 to 2018, first at Rogers Memorial Hospital, then with the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She remains involved in teaching and maintains a voluntary clinical faculty position at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is happy to now provide psychiatric care in Wisconsin Rapids.
