    ATTENTION DEVELOPERS! 

    1. Summary of Request for Proposals The Village of Port Edwards is pleased to request proposals for a residential development opportunity in the Ripple Creek Park neighborhood. The Village will sell its vacant land in the 1400 block of north 6th Street to the successful respondent. Questions regarding this RFP can be directed to the Village Administrator as noted in the Contact Information section.

    2. Neighborhood Profile The Ripple Creek Neighborhood is located in the heart of the Village close to recreation and the highly rated Port Edwards Schools. Adjacent to the property is Ripple Creek which creates the eastern boundary of Ripple Creek Park. The park provides a variety of recreation amenities including baseball fields, playground equipment, sledding hill, ice skating pond and warming house, picnic shelter with bathrooms, wooded disc golf course, tennis and pickle ball court, and basket ball court. Also nearby is pave bike trail that connects to regional trail system that connects to destinations throughout the Wisconsin Rapids region.

    3. Parcel Description The photo below shows the 8.5 acres with two foot elevation lines and a dashed blue line showing generally where a Village water line serves the property. The parcel is located adjacent to Ripple Creek to the west, 4 Unit multi-family units to the south, railroad right-of-way to the east, and a local light manufacturing business to the north. The north edge of the parcel is 840 feet in length and the south edge is 325 feet. The eastern edge of the property is 670 feet.
