Two Aspirus physicians are recipients of the 2017-2018 Medical College of Wisconsin Outstanding Medical Student Teacher award.

Amy Falk, MD, a pediatrician with Aspirus Doctors Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids, and Ridhwi Mukerji, MD, a hospitalist with Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, recently received pins in recognition of the award, which is presented by the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Curriculum and Evaluation Committee (CEC).

The award recognizes and affirms those individuals who - through their teaching excellence - advance student learning and provide added value to students’ required medical training. Dr. Falk and Dr. Mukerji were recognized for their teaching in Central Wisconsin Integrated Clerkship (CWIC), a course spanning 38 weeks in which medical students first learn the basics of clinical medicine in the major specialties.
