It's time to VOTE for your local Heart of Wisconsin area "Best Of" favorites!
You nominated, we listened! Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate these amazing local businesses. We have gathered them together in the last "Best of" contest survey to select our finalists. It's time to VOTE for your favorite local Heart of Wisconsin area businesses! All votes will need to be cast by February 28th to announce the "Best Of" winners in March.
The goal of this campaign is to build positivity in the Heart of Wisconsin Area business community and bring more life into the amazing businesses it has to offer.
“With last year being the toughest stretch our business community has been through in a while, we wanted to engage the community and have them be a part of something special. Voting for a local favorite businesses that align with each “Best of” category is a fun, inspiring way to give back and recognize some great accomplishments from a year with a significant amount of adversity,” Kari Schwingle, Engagement Director of the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce stated.
Schwingle along with others are attending the 2020/21 Leadership Class as part of career development. Additional participants in the project include Elizabeth Herwald of Renaissance, Tanya Saxton of Lakeland University, and Melinda McNett of Northwestern Mutual.
Each month, participants are given a closer look at the opportunities and challenges in our community through the eyes of a wide variety of leaders from every sector of our community, including education, community services, government systems, and economic development.
Each class takes on one or two special projects that they find beneficial to the community. This year, one group project is a “Best of” the Heart of Wisconsin Area campaign. This is an opportunity for community members to nominate and ultimately vote for the businesses that align with the “Best of” categories.
The survey link to vote for the “Best of” businesses will be posted on the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce website and multiple social media platforms starting February 8th, 2021.
