Client Care Assistant (CCA) & Registered Nurse (RN)

Park Place Adult Day Services is looking to hire a casual Client Care Assistant (CCA) and a Registered Nurse (RN). Patient, kind, caring, individuals, please apply! Each position can be rewarding when given the opportunity to work with a vulnerable group of adults who may have physical and/or cognitive dysfunction, or perhaps a diagnosis of Dementia. 

The CCA would be able to assist individuals with their activities of daily living, help those who are a part of the Bathing Program Park Place offers to the community who request this service, engage those participants attending in mind stimulating activities like art, music, pet, cooking and reading, all to maintain a special dignity in a warm, caring, safe, and positive environment. Work hours would be variable, but a CCA could expect to work at least one to two 6 hour days per pay period and be given additional hours as needed. 

For an RN, experience doing TB tests is a plus as Park Place does offer that service to the Assisted Livings and Group Homes in the community for their new employees and the individuals who reside there. One can expect to work about 2 days per month-more hours possible to cover vacation time for the Director. Monitoring and assisting the care staff and clients, attending to issues like a fall or disruption, giving prescribed medications to those attending for the day are all part of the job opportunities that await this nurse!
