Mustered May 19th, 1932, The Buckley-Baldwin VFW Post will be celebrating 90 years of service to the Greater Wisconsin Rapids community. The public is welcome to come join us for a day of fun and fellowship. There will be a brat fry and refreshment stand, Military equipment displays and activities, the Zor Funsters, a display by the Material Girls Quilting Club who make the Quilts of Valor to present to veterans. The Wisconsin Army National Guard Woodwind Band as well as Alexis Walton will also be there to lend instrumental and vocal entertainment to the occasion. There will be a Ribbon Cutting ceremony by the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce as well as a blessing of the building and event held at 10:00 am. At 1:00 pm, there will be the reading of anniversary proclamations, a guest speaker and other formalities, closed out by a ceremony for fallen soldiers and veterans.
