CELIAC SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET APRIL 15
The Celiac Support Group will meet Tuesday, April 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Water’s Edge Dining Room on the Lower Level of Riverview Medical Center, 410 Dewey Street, Wisconsin Rapids.
The meeting will be a Pizza Party! Attendees are asked to bring a gluten-free pizza ingredient – crust, sauce, cheese or topping. At the meeting, they will also be invited to share a story about a restaurant dining experience they have had.
Attendance at the April meeting is free; but advance registration is required. Those planning to attend are asked to call Lori at 715-421-7446 to let her know what pizza ingredient you will bring. New members of all ages and their family members are welcome.
Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been on a gluten-free diet for years, the Celiac Support Group will put you on the path to learning more about celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and gluten-free living, shopping, cooking and eating out.
The Celiac Support Group is facilitated by Lori Cesare, DTR, a Riverview Medical Center registered dietetic technician with many years of experience educating patients about gluten-free diets, and Jean Lobner, a Celiac Support Group member.
